Travel & Parking Permits

St Patrick’s School has secured a limited number of parking permits which will be made available to parents who meet the criteria as listed below and who will use it on a daily basis. Unfortunately, if the parking permit is not used on a regular daily basis (as monitored by Wiltshire Council) it will be cancelled and reissued to another parent who is on the waiting list.  The permit allows parents to park free of charge in the HIGH STREET CAR PARK IN CORSHAM during morning school drop off and after school pick up times, thus alleviating traffic on the Lacock Road.  If you would like to apply for a permit, please complete the  parking permit application form (found below)  and return your form to the school office before Friday 6 Sept 2019. Please note: Vehicle Registration is required to complete your application.

If you are allocated a parking permit you will be notified on Monday 9 Sept 2019.

The school has just completed a school travel plan, with an aim to reduce car journeys.  We encourage local children to walk to school with their parents as part of our Healthy Schools and Eco Schools policies.  The Lacock Road outside the school gets very congested at peak school times, and parking can be difficult.  Car sharing is also encouraged for those who have to drive.  Those children who cycle can leave their bicycles at school; please bring your own locks to secure bicycles.
