Term 6
This week we will be revisiting the Growing Up video that our children watched (and a number of parents viewed) last year. We will speak with children together and then in groups of boys and girls when we will answer some questions and address any anxieties. Below is an optional and useful resource that South Gloucestershire LA has put together to assist families who may want to talk about puberty further at home.
It has been wonderful to welcome so many familiar faces back to Year 6 this week. We will be doing some of these challenges in class; however you may also want to do some in your own time at home.

MATHS
Do you love a maths challenge?
Each year, the Mathematical Association run a competition for year 5 and 6 pupils; Some of the children in Year 6 at St. Patrick's chose to take part last year and really enjoyed it. If you would like to give yourself a maths challenge and enjoy tackling tricky questions, there are past papers to download on their website, (follow this link: http://www.primarymathschallenge.org.uk/downloads)
